From the Editors:
Today is the eve of the 2016 presidential election which will decide who will hold the office of President of the United States for the next four years. Whatever the outcome, whoever wins the election, we offer a prayer for our country, for cooperation and unity among the American people. We pray we can be big-minded and open-hearted, conscious of protecting and caring for our beloved planet and all its inhabitants. We pray that the notion of winning and losing can be redefined by a mindset that winners are those who include everyone, remember everyone, respect and honor everyone.

Recent politics, however, have not been very inspiring to many of us. Instead, we may find inspiration from the music, art and books that the anointed ones have given to us, and by the beauty of the natural world. Please take comfort from the words of Maxim Gorky, the music of Steve Greeley, the artistry of Oleg the jeweler, and the high minded innovation of Eco-Activist Galen Fulford and BioMatrix Water. Let's ponder our lives as we go into the dark months ending this year. May we be guided by divine love.

Post-Election:
Respect, Love, Compassion, and Unity
by Peter Falkenberg Brown
Nov 7, 2016
The 2016 Election has been one of the most vitriolic and divisive elections that I can remember. It's almost as if the United States has entered an intellectual, emotional, and spiritual civil war. Or perhaps a civil war of values. Forgiveness and unity after the election are states of mind and heart that I hope our country can attain. more

Maureen Spagnolo, traveling north in Maine with her daughter and her dog, snapped this evening moment at Acadia National Park. The edgy mood of ebbing autumn is captured here. One can feel the approaching deep freeze of winter so close, as Jenna and Zumi play on the rocks.

Making a Ring with Oleg
~ creating a custom silver ring with master artisan Oleg Mozjoukhine
by Peter Falkenberg Brown
Aug 16, 2016
In 2015 I was inspired to create a ring that had a very personal spiritual meaning to me—a ring that would represent my vows of love with the indwelling God. During my daily meditation practice, over a period of many months, I decided that I wanted to create a sterling silver ring with a design of silver irises on a dark green background. more
