All I can say is I hope God forgives me for not discovering John Hiatt before the age of 53. His music cuts to the heart’s core. He is honest, gutsy and gifted. I heard him live on the Cayamo cruise in February, 2008. Please read my MusicViews column, “John Hiatt on the Cayamo Cruise” about his performance there.
